The Project
An industrial property was developed to support modern manufacturing and logistics operations. The single-story structure spans 25,000 square feet and is strategically located to offer efficient transport access. The building includes a large open-plan production floor, a dedicated loading bay, and office spaces. High ceilings and a column-free design maximize operational flexibility.
The project required specialized foundations due to the industrial equipment load, as well as a reinforced steel frame to support overhead cranes. The building also incorporates energy-efficient lighting and ventilation systems, reflecting a commitment to sustainable design.
Our Role
Rehoboth Engineers provided full structural engineering services, focusing on a foundation system capable of bearing the heavy loads imposed by the industrial machinery. This included the design of reinforced concrete slabs and column footings. The steel frame system was optimized for durability and efficiency, ensuring the building could accommodate the equipment and cranes while maintaining structural integrity.
Our team also worked closely with the architect to integrate energy-efficient solutions, including skylights for natural lighting and advanced HVAC systems. These enhancements align with the client’s goal to reduce long-term operational costs while meeting environmental standards.
